Led the development of the Gentle Density Toolbox, a pioneering online resource in BC supporting gentle density initiatives.- Manages Small Housing’s media presence, handling media releases, backgrounders, Q&A prep, story pitching, key message development, media tours, and response coordination.- Develops content for Small Housing’s website and newsletter, including story ideation, interviews, and thoughtful, engaging writing.- Drafts RFPs & RFQs to advance Small Housing’s work across projects and partnerships.

As Head of the Ibec media office, I worked extensively to ensure that Ibec and its 39 trade associations execute effective, impactful public relations strategies that meet the organisation’s ambitions and the needs of our members. My key responsibilities include:• Development and execution of Ibec’s organisational media strategy, as well as working closely with the Head of Public Affairs and Leadership team to develop future strategies. • Lead on the delivery of external media profile for Ibec, reaching and influencing strategic audiences nationally and internationally. • Oversee day-to-day management of the media office including writing press releases and other copy including articles and briefs as required, responding to media requests, briefing Ibec spokespeople ahead of media interviews, and setting up interviews and photo opportunities for the national and local media. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national and international media contacts. • Ensure effective media management for conferences and events. • Ensure the Head of Public Affairs and relevant executive director team members are kept informed and consulted on key media issues. • Advise and support colleagues across Ibec to developed targeted, impactful communications activities. • Work effectively with internal stakeholders in ensuring consistency in the Ibec brand and message. • Produce engaging multi-platform content of the highest standard for external communications including member and media communications including speeches, content for publications, opinion editorial and social media. • Support the implementation of the wider Public Affairs strategy. • Oversee Ibec corporate social media channels, including Twitter and Linkedin.

European Movement Ireland is an independent, not-for-profit, membership-based organisation working to develop the connection between Ireland and Europe.In my capacity as communications stagiare, I was tasked with several responsibilities, including:- Report writing on a wide range of Irish and European political and economic affairs. - Speech writing for our Chief Executive- Monthly article published in the Evening Echo, Cork-based newspaper with 10,000 strong readership.- Stakeholder outreach through digital platforms, affording proficiency of software programmes such as Wordpress and Mailchimp.- Assisting in the content of the company's social media channels.- Event management, including 'Investing in Ireland's Infrastructure', an event that was held in collaboration with the European Commission Representation in Ireland. - Corresponding with high-profile public stakeholders, including political representatives and national ambassadors.
