As a podcast host, my responsibilities include researching and holding engaging conversations with local community leaders, entrepreneurs and artists, booking guests, maintaining journalistic integrity, cultivating relationships, and assisting in managing social media.

I have been a reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable team member. I have many important responsibilities, including:• Maintaining relationships with regular guests• Providing quality guest service in a fast-paced environment• Translating horseracing-related jargon to new and inexperienced guests in simplistic terms• Concealing customers’ gambling winnings and losses and protecting sensitive company information

As a line supervisor and extremely knowledgeable Pari-mutuel Cashier, it is my responsibility to assist in training new staff for our live racing season. My important training responsibilities are:• Helping create trust between regular guests and new employees• Going over brand standards to ensure optimal customer service• Teaching specific jargon related to horse-race wagering• Demonstrating how to balance a bank

Starting as an intern at The Booker T. Washington Center in Erie, Pa., my focus was on community relations and grant writing. From June 2019-August 2019, I worked in an internship role. From August 2019 to the present I have written grants on a freelance basis, with the grants I have written achieving $16,000 in awards for the Booker T. Washington Center, to date. As a grant writer, and previously as an intern, my responsibilities include:• Discovering and selecting grants applicable to necessary projects• Drafting and editing foundations for grant proposals • Preparing capital budgets and evaluative strategies

As a sports editor for The Behrend Beacon, I was responsible for executing the weekly content on the sports pages through story creation and editing and page creation and editing, using Adobe InDesign. As a writer, I have provided stories for the sports section, as well as the news section of the paper. As an editor, some of my responsibilities included: • Developing, writing, and editing newsworthy content in AP style• Managing and delegating stories to team of staff writers• Formatting sports page using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign

As an event planner for Sustainable Behrend at Penn State Behrend, I was charged with creating two events from scratch to be featured in Behrend's ongoing Sustainability Series. The events I created were an Economic Equality Panel, focusing on how to make Erie a more livable community for the minority population, and an on-campus voter registration drive. All aspects of the event, from the creation of promotional material to conceptualization to pre-planning and post-planning were handled by me. In this role, some of my major responsibilites were:• Planning events related to civic engagement and sustainability, including a voter registration drive and a panel on economic equality on a community level• Coordinating with community leaders and campus organizations to establish events• Creating media material that focused on the Sustainability Series brand and mission in relation to campus events• Researching statistics and data related to voter turnout and economic instability for minorities in Erie, Pa.

As an intern for the John M. Lilley Library Outreach Committee at Penn State Behrend, I helped with events, as well as writing blog posts and assisting in social media efforts targeted at heightening student engagement, particularly on Instagram and Twitter. Some of my responsibilities included:• Expanding Instagram and Twitter content and following and creating content for a new blog website• Publishing content designed to engage students and inform staff about library activity

As a Public Relations student working with Safe Journey, I worked on creating a social media outreach plan for a bystander outreach program, known as Purple One. Some of my responsibilities were:• Assisting in creating and launching a social media campaign for Safe Journey• Leading a creative team of four people in content distribution strategy• Communicating with a PR team of twelve people• Writing radio Public Service Announcements• Researching social media strategies and analytics to determine optimal platforms and timelines

As a student I worked with The Oasis Project Farmer's Market, a fledgling non-profit organization, to create a Public Relations campaign based around creating a brand, brand recognition, and cohesion with the surrounding Erie community.
