David is an experienced psychotherapist who is passionate about supporting people through difficult times in an increasingly fast-paced and complex world. He started his career as a scientist/engineer and has worked as a research chemist, environmental inspector, and consultant chemical engineer before retraining in psychology and psychotherapy. He now runs his own psychotherapy practice helping people with a wide range of mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, addictions and work-related stress amongst others. David also provides consultancy services to organisations including workshops, webinars and writing reports on stress & burnout, most recently for the cyber security industry. He also works with charities such as PTSD Resolution, serving ex-military personnel and their families, and the child bereavement charity Winston’s Wish. Out of work David enjoys; spending time with his family, playing tennis, cycling, running, watching rugby, hiking, playing piano, astronomy, cosmology, cooking and reading.
