Created, developed and maintain the HedgeAlytix analytical application for hedge funds located at https://hedgealytix.com. We built a platform for the other 99% of investors, managers, analysts and advisors to help find, evaluate, compare & market alternative investment products.Platform launched in 2001 as CogentHedge, a free online research resource for any fully accredited investor. Hedge fund database (containing more than 15,000 fund records overall) monitors over 5000 active vehicles, presenting comprehensive performance metrics for 10,000 registered users, predominantly professional investors, family offices, institutional analysts and managers.From 1987 through 1990, was Product Manager in the International Product Development and Marketing Department of Drexel Burnham Lambert, New York. Developed and brought to market several of the first widely available managed derivatives funds and multi-manager vehicles dealing in alternatives. Stable of private placements for non-US and tax-exempt clients grew from $350MM in assets to over $750MM.Following dissolution of DBL through early 2001, was a founding member and product development manager of Olympia Capital, an independent third-party administrator of hedge funds, offshore investment vehicles, and other private placements. Extensive involvement in structuring and creating disclosure documentation and collateral marketing material for highly specialized investment products.Prior to DBL was responsible for financial and corporate advertising media campaigns at Doremus & Company, the premier financial advertising agency located in lower Manhattan. Worked with both consumer and financial advertising groups as the agency's acting media director. Earlier experience in ad media included positions in the internal corporate/industrial advertising department of General Electric in Norwalk, CT and both consumer packaged goods and corporate advocacy accounts at Foote Cone & Belding/NY.
