David Smith is owner and Ceo of Berryman/Smith which wholly owns the 8 companies that make up our commercial divisions that service a wide range of industries and product offerings domestically and internationally. Berryman Chemical being our original company was established in 1979 and was the foundation for our expanding footprint. We provide robust support to customers with our nation wide product offerings thru transloading, our 12-acre manufacturing plant, large rail fleet consisting of over 500 rail cars, barge tanks, Internal Transportation Company offering coast-to-coast delivery services.Our divisions include:1. Oil and Gas Chemicals: Manufacturing of hydrogen sulfide scavengers and various other production chemicals2. Commodity and Specialty Chemicals: Producing and transporting a large variety of chemicals with sales in barges, rail, trucks, totes and drums3. Construction Chemicals: Manufacturing construction chemicals for the concrete and cement industries4. Heat Transfer Fluids/Antifreeze: Manufacturing over-the-road truck and automotive industry coolants, stationary engine and HVAC heat transfer fluids and additives for use in a wide range of industries5. Plant Facility Support: Providing warehousing, packaging, rail transloading, chemical reaction and blending services with more than one million gallons of storage and 35 rail spots.6.
