I moved to Brazil more than 40 years ago as the first employee of the future GSI Brasil, a major grain silo manufacturer. I worked for a series of multinational companies, gaining administrative and sales skills but my entrepreneurial drive led me to form a joint venture with Butler Manufacturing (American) and Kepler Weber (Brazilian) to make poultry incubators. Then in 1983, I started Wings, manufacturing the country`s first pneumatic chick vaccinator and gradually developing a full line of products for poultry hatcheries. Since selling my patents for the Ovo-Jector in-egg vaccinator to the vaccine company Merial in 2012, I have devoted 100% of the company`s resources to manufacturing DustControl® systems which prevent dust from being expelled from bulk receiving pits into the environment. We now have more than 200 systems in seven countries.
