After getting a call from a fellow Linkedin user I have taken the roll of ABM at the most successful Independent Distributor in the UK. Established in 1977, the family run business has grown to be the #1 distributor of drywall and associated products and I am proud to now be part of their family.

After a very successful time as an ABM for an independent, I have now taken on the Operations roll as part of the Minster/SGBD future vision. With huge investment in cutting edge technology, telephony and delivery systems its a very exciting time for the Minster brand. As well as being the number 1 distributor for service and stock we are breaking records and growing every single month this year. Everything from British Gypsum and Siniat to Weber Renders and all accessories, Minster East London is going from strength to strength.

After 15 years in the industry I have finally taken the next step and help run the Essex branch of the fastest growing insulation distributor in the UK. Our tireless crew work around the clock to make sure our service is prompt, thorough and world class. If you need 'next day' without fail, we are the number one choice.

Working as part of a great team, I am in the unique position of having the best of all worlds; I am not only a humble part of the industries best Sales Executives, each with many years of experience and knowledge, but I have a part in the Stock Control and Purchasing roles as well as the more 'hands on' approach of the Warehouse Ops, having the experience to be able to help the entire wheel turn efficiently and with a greater understanding of the business. I look forward to many happy years...

During my employment I have undertaken several key roles, always adapting to new challenges brought on by modern day progression. Starting in the warehouse I have progressed through the company to my purchasing position. I moved from warehouse to sales and up to the Stock Controllers role to further my experience and expand my knowledge of the working business. Here, I was responsible for regional key stock as well as local sales stock, for the benefit of the south east regions profit margin - a challenge I have met with great success. I have created templates for stock profiles, Excel calculators and have tailored M4 Profile menus to suit the business model of East London and the south east region. I ensured goods in was correct, checked reports for SMS and rotational stock, organized goods bays, run and executed PIM and ran 6 monthly stock takes, with audits.

During my time here I operated plant machinery including Multi Elevation Work Platforms, Telescopic Forklift, Mobile Crane units and CAT forklifts. I also installed rigging and lighting sets for major events, shows and festivals and was a site crew supervisor for the Logistics Crew at the Millennium Dome. I was trained to CITB standard and enjoyed travelling around the world with a close knit and professional crew.
