An Information Governance leader who helps organizations use, protect, discover, classify, research, retain and dispose of data and documents to enable business and ensure compliance. The current role includes extensive client contact, identifying problems and challenges, architecting and implementing solutions, at all levels of large, regulated organizations.Immediately prior to my current role, I focused on cyber security, data protection and privacy - particularly loss prevention, classification and discovery. This includes significant knowledge growth and coursework including Managing Risk in the Information Age. Previous efforts include strategic planning, program development and operations normalization for structured data and eDiscovery. Related efforts included data retention, defensible disposition, data mapping, workflow automation and application decommissioning. Similar, previous efforts have yielded enhanced control and process efficiencies along with substantial cost reduction.The information governance expertise encompasses data and document management, eDiscovery, records and information management and consulting with large financial, pharmaceutical, industrial and not for profit organizations. This expertise includes strategy and program development, project management, skill and knowledge transfer, and integration with litigation, compliance, audit, corporate and line of business functions. Common initiatives throughout my career have been development and implementation of information lifecycle management policies, procedures, technology and teams targeting high-impact initiatives, regulatory compliance (Dodd Frank, EMIR, SOX, privacy), operational excellence and cost reduction.
