Considerable experience has been gained working within the archaeological and cultural heritage environment, primarily relating to large-scale linear route infrastructure projects and wind farms. Researched and written Cultural Heritage chapters to contribute to Environmental Impact Assessments and directed/managed archaeological fieldwork projects, ranging from walkover surveys to evaluations and excavations. The last two years has involved working as senior archaeological clerk of works for a major ongoing infrastructure project advising on, formulating and implementing archaeological mitigation. Research projects have been undertaken involving community outreach and the training of volunteers. Currently co-director of the Glenshee Archaeology Project.
