-Develop and manage operational training plans and oversee training and education withinthe Marine Raider Training Center (MRTC).-Develop annual training plans to ensure commanders priorities and mission essentialtasks are accomplished.-Promulgate MRTC command policy regarding operations and training.-Coordinate internal/external support for baseline Individual Training Course (ITC),Special Operations Capability Specialist (SOCS) pipeline and advanced training courses.-Synchronize baseline training and education requirements with MARSOC G-3 and MajorSubordinate Commands (MSC) Operations Officers, on common training priorities.-Complete the incorporation of crew-served weapons training into the ITC.-Ensure MRTC basic and advance courses receive the required daily support in order tosuccessfully meet MRTC training and education requirements.-In coordination with the MRTC Deputy Director and Executive Officer, completedevelopment of and supervise the execution of the MRTC Campaign Plan.

-Lead the Strategy and Policy Department (J5) in the development of future operationsplans, synchronization of subordinate unit plans, management, and integration ofCoalition Special Operations Forces in the unit.-Coordinate the integration and employment of Coalition Special Operations Forces (SOF)units into Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force-Iraq (CJSOTF-I).-Manage and oversee the timely staffing and coordination of all CJSOTF-I subordinateunit CONOPs for submission to HHQ for approval. Coordinate with conventional, taskforce, and non-standard Coalition partners for combined/joint operations.-Organize and lead all Operational Planning Team (OPT) in the development of actionablefuture operations and plans into theater level campaign plans and strategies.-Manage all CJSOTF-I operational and planning directives, to include the generation anddistribution of Fragmentary Orders (FRAGO) and Operational Orders (OPORD).-Plan, coordinate, and track all Coalition force movements in and around thebattlespace, to include friendly force deployments into and out of theater.

-Establish, manage, and document all G-33 subordinate functional areas including but notlimited to the MARSOC TEEP, Deployment Sourcing Process (DSP), force generation support,CBRN activities, Distinguished Visitor (DV) support, Mission Assurance (MA), Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection (ATFP), and related daily battle rhythm events.-Supervise the coordination of Strategic Engagements with the Command Element andvisiting staffs for the planning and execution of all engagements.-Serve as the Deployment Sourcing Process (DSP) working group OIC. Ensure optimizationof requirements ISO manning, organizing, training, equipping, and deploying MARSOF.-Serve as the lead coordinator with MARSOC staff divisions, Major Subordinate Elements(MSE), and external MARFOR-level organizations for requirement validation, sourcingcoordination, and taskings ISO MARSOF training, exercises, and deployments.-Manage and synchronize all operational-related correspondence across all MSEs andexternal to the command via Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) messaging.-Execute duties and responsibilities as directed from the AC/S G3 and MARSOC CE.

-Perform duties as the acting Battalion Commander when directed.-Synchronize and manage the battalion staff, and ensure unity of effort, collaborationand cooperation in the pursuit of assigned missions, as well as adherence to appropriatedirectives/orders/policy.-Manage the officer slate and ensure the appropriate assignment of key personnel for thebattalion.-Supervise, coordinate, and implement the battalion's internal control program andprepare the unit's annual statement of assurance. Conduct internal inspections for eachsection and commodity area to ensure compliance with FSMAO, AIRS Checklist, and MCAATs.-Responsible for the implementation of all applicable safety policies and programs.-Supervise the appropriate distribution, management and accountability of all unitproperty.

-Responsible for all instruction and training related to Personnel Recovery (PR) andSurvival, Evasion, Resistance & Escape, Language training and Phase 0 of the IndividualTraining Course (ITC) for MARSOC.-Responsible for the development of the programs of instructions, master lesson files,and course curriculum and ensure that they are current with the most relevant tactics,techniques and procedures (TTPs).-Responsible for the training, welfare, evaluation, performance, of students andinstructors. Ensure SOPs, confirmation briefs, and ORMs are complete and adhered to forall training evolutions.-Coordinate with the appropriate federal, state, and local support agencies through offbasetraining packages, logistical planning, and required message traffic to ensureproper execution of the course.-Ensure the maintenance and accountability of the section's weapons, vehicles, gear,and communications equipment.

-Establish and prioritize the company mission essential task list.-Lead, train, supervise, counsel, ensure the welfare of, and evaluate Marines assignedto the company in the performance of their duties and their professional development,including their ability to advance in grade and perform duties of higher billets.-Develop to and sustain at USMC standards the combat proficiency, discipline, cohesion,warrior spirit, and the moral, mental, and physical fitness & endurance of the company.-Employ the company and attachments in tactical exercises and operations.-Advise the Battalion Commander and Operations Officer on all Supporting Arms organic tothe Marine Corps. Approve or deny all fire missions based on Battalion Commandersintent.-Ensure all Marines, weapons, and equipment assigned to the company are accounted for,properly maintained, and ready for contingency deployment.-Maintain situational awareness of higher unit activities and policies, current events,particularly those involving military assets, and evolving military TTP and equipment.

-Serve as Firepower Control Team (FCT) Leader responsible for conducting liaison withsupported and adjacent units and for planning, coordinating, and executing fires forsupported units in Joint and Coalition operations in all environments.-Serve as Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) for supported units. Conduct terminalcontrol of fires including the use of specialized munitions andtarget acquisition and designation devices.-Establish C2 nets across the communications spectrum and deconflict fires with higher,supported and adjacent units.-Advise the supported maneuver commander in planning, coordinating, and conducting allindirect fires and air operations to include CAS, Assault Support and CASEVAC inaccordance with MCWP 3-16 and JP 3-09.3.-Maintain accountability of FCT assigned classified and serialized equipment.-Implement and execute combat proficiency and professional development training.

-Perform the duties of the Commanding Officer in his absence.-Ensure all company activities are in compliance with applicable regulations and orders.-Plan, coordinate, execute, and supervise training and education.-Develop company training in accordance with USMC standards in combat proficiency andthe moral, mental, and physical fitness and endurance of the company.-Perform duties as Company Ordnance, Substance Abuse, Education, and Embark Officer.-Maintain situational awareness of higher unit activities and policies, current events(particularly those involving military assets), and evolving military TTP and equipment.-Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement of unit & individual performance.-Mentor, coordinate, support, and supervise the platoon Commanders.

-Lead, train, supervise, counsel, ensure the welfare of, and evaluate Marines assignedto Heavy Machine Guns (HMG) Platoon in the performance of their duties & theirprofessional development, including their ability to advance in grade and perform dutiesof higher billets.-Plan, coordinate, and execute training and education to develop and sustain the combatproficiency and the moral, mental, and physical fitness and endurance of the platoon.-Lead, train, & employ the heavy machine guns platoon to ensure ability to supportbattalion.-Ensure all Marines, weapons, and equipment assigned to the platoon are accounted for,properly maintained, and ready for contingency deployment.-Develop the warrior spirit, discipline, and cohesion of the platoon.-Maintain situational awareness of higher unit activities and policies, current events(particularly those involving military assets), and evolving military Techniques,tactics, and procedures and equipment.
