Managing the repair process of multi-brand product through multi-skilled teams, within a technical platform. Completing maintenance for warranty claim and scheduled servicing. All aspects of the repair process are included. Beginning with preparing the workflow through a technical diagnostics and spare parts identification, and cost allocation. Before moving onto the aesthetic and functional repair process and finally, quality control.Overseeing up to 700 services in varying processes. Conducting workload distribution and offering technical solutions to a technical team of up to 25 employees. Communicating to dedicated customer care teams for an overall customer satisfaction.Holding responsibility for health and safety, including chemical handling procedures, Safety data and regular machine maintenance. Also creating safe operating procedures.Through planning such as process re-engineering and flow diagrams, we are making improvements to workflows to work smarter and improve efficiency. Using new efficiencies to calculate headcount for further future planning.I measure the teams quality and quantity of output, allowing identification of training requirements. Feedback is provided through one to one and team meetings.In turn, my key KPI's are turn around time (TAT), overall productivity, and quality.

With a succession of promotions leaving the position vacant, the opportunity to step into a management position presented itself. The position included managing a team of 70 technical staff with support of 5 supervisors, across 2 technical sites, for multiple technical functions/departments. Monitoring individual productivity through reports and one to one meetings, recruitment, tool budgeting, training plans, involvement in larger projects such as interior building/ floor plan improvements, and conducting site tours for our retail partners are a few of the key tasks conducted.After a steep learning curve and a series of well chosen recruitment of staff, there was a feeling of comfort and the ability to sustain the growth and improvement of the previous years. With my family in mind and an opportunity to test myself in a life changing move to Australia, my 13 years within the UK came to an end.

During this period, I was able to work closely with the technical manager for which we achieved a great working relationship and oversaw a successful transition from old working methods to new, through strong implication of best practices. Looking back, the later years of this time became a golden era for the workshop and a great place to work.
