• Managed complex rehabilitation projects for state-owned public housing. Tracked spending and deliverables for dozens of projects, typically 15-20 simultaneously, totaling millions in spending, to ensure on-time and on-budget completion. • Partnered with State construction managers and directors of local housing authorities to oversee short-term and long-term rehabilitation projects. Maintained contact with contractors and housing authorities to monitor progress, mediate conflicts, clarify state rules/regulations, reinforce contract terms and penalties, etc. • Consulted with directors of public housing authorities to develop long-term planning and prioritization for cities’ needs.

• Monitored spending for multi-billion-dollar state Medicaid budget and prepared reports for agency and legislative leaders explaining trends in spending programs.

Tracked all sources of state revenue for the committee and recommended appropriation levels and language for all line items in State Education budget. Worked closely with legislators and agency staff to formulate budget and policy recommendations.
