I have been working in the IT space since approximately 1995. I have worked as a Field Service Engineer, QA Engineer, Software Developer, and System Administrator. I am currently employed as a Firefighter/EMT-B where, in addition to my duties as a professional Firefighter, I have responsibilities as the Fire District's System and Network Administrator as wells as a member of District's I.T. Committee. I have worked professionally and am familiar with the following technologies: Windows Server (2008 through 2019), UNIX and Linux servers and workstations (Solaris, Ubuntu, Debian, etc) Git/GitHub, Virtualization technologies including VMWare and Oracle VirtualBox, Windows Active Directory Administration and Office 365 Administration, RAID systems (Dell/EMC, IBM, Synology), High Availability environments primarily with Veritas HA clustering, networking technologies, PACS, RIS, Digital Medical Imaging, DICOM, HL-7I hold a B.S. in Computer Science, Software Development Track, from SUNY Brockport University. During my career I have always strived to keep current with emerging technology and learn as much as I can to improve my capabilities as an engineer.
