Having depth of experience in a wide range of University positions in technical, management, andleadership roles, enables me to address the unique challenges in education. As the industry transformshow students learn, how professors teach, and how higher ed institutions operate, I provide thegovernance, team leadership, and project oversight needed to make this possible.I work with the University's senior and executive leadership to develop strategies and roadmapsthat support the academic and administrative programs. I create executive level presentations for the ITSteering committee, AVP/CIO, President’s Cabinet, and Board of Directors about the statuses ofprograms, projects, operations, and state of repair activities.I lead IT initiatives and projects, developing innovative solutions, enabling new datacapabilities, streamlining processes, and collaborating with partners across a variety of disciplines.I am a leader and strategic thinker who loves to problem solve and enjoys the process of identifying issues and finding solutions.When I was the Director of Program Management, I established a Program Management Office (PMO)to bring governance, structure, project prioritization, and strategic planning to new initiatives. I built thePMO to help guide the university through organizational changes, promote a project managementculture, institutionalize organizational processes, and manage enterprise projects and programs.I build sustainable relationships with stakeholders to understand their concerns and challenges. I look tovendors to leverage their technology expertise to stay up to date on current best practices and also planfor the future, so we have an adaptable environment able to respond to evolving businessrequirements.I build and grow strong, confident teams by working to integrate learning and skills development atevery opportunity. I provide people-oriented leadership that drives a culture of openness, transparency,accountability, and shared goals.
