Manager - DevOps in the Corporate Operations Group for Macquarie Commodities and Global Markets Group. I manage a global support team for both in-house and third party hosted Applications including web services and SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL environments utilizing industry standard change management processes. This required working on client sites in London and Manchester and being involved in the Bid process for new Client projects as technical support consultant.

My role was primarily the Analysis of Technical Business incidents within Fund Account Management including Unit Pricing, NAV Oversight , Cash Allocation, Reconciliations. This also included managing the implementation of client upgrades of both software and platform. This required analysis of the software requiring detail knowledge of the proprietary pcontrol language based on Java Objects, creating JAR files and diagnosing faults with Java Containers. This also required changes and updates to SQL platforms including Oracle 10g, SQL Server2012, and Linux and Solaris. Also involved some international travel to other company offices and client sites.

IT Developer/Implementation Consultant for the Zurich Account. Initially working in Tactical Development and support for VB6, and DB2 IBM Mainframe applications. I later move to API development for the Hiportfolio Fund Account Management application in UNIX Shell Script, XML, Korn Shell and Ctree DBs. This was a 4 year upgrade program & migration project including AIX to Solaris migration and roll out of the new Hiporfolio API interface to both Zurich UK & Ireland. This role included being the Lead Designer, Implementation Management and day to day support with knowledge transfer to India.
