Reporting to the President, directed IT, investor relations, M&A and strategic planning activities. Responsible for significant operational and profit and loss activities, including product development, supply chain, inventory, information technology, customer service, forecasting, distribution, strategic planning, merger and acquisition, investor relations and human resources. As interim COO of Haggar's women's wear division, successfully led integration of the acquisition into company business environment. Developed for Board approval, a marketing focused corporate strategic plan which had at its core, strategies to increase shareholder value, growth initiatives through acquisitions and a strategic realignment of SG&A expenses.Consolidated multiple IT platforms, resulting in $1.8 million in annual savings and a scaleable ERP software platform and hardware architecture, including an integrated data warehouse.Key executive responsible for all investor relations, due diligence and business valuation processes as they related to acquisition targets. Reduced information technology expenditure from 2.3% of net sales to 1.6%. Developed, funded and implemented a systems upgrade initiative providing for new merchandising, point of sale and telecommunications systems for 90 retail stores. As a business partner, worked closely with SBU management in the design and development of improved supply chain, inventory management, order management, customer service and distribution systems.
