David Spector is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pennymac. Under his leadership, Pennymac has become one of the most respected lenders within the mortgage industry. Founded in 2008, Pennymac consists of PennyMac Financial Services, Inc. (NYSE: PFSI), a leading mortgage lender and servicer, and PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust (NYSE: PMT), a leading residential mortgage real estate investment trust (REIT). David has been a member of the both boards since their formation and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer for both companies in 2017. In 2021, he became Chairman of both the PFSI and PMT boards, overseeing discussions on new initiatives and strategic priorities, facilitating internal board communication and ensuring proper oversight of key matters. Prior to his current role, he served as the company's President and Chief Operating Officer.As one of the top lenders in the country today, Pennymac has helped over 4 million lifetime homeowners achieve and sustain their aspirations of home.
