David Spector is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pennymac. Under his leadership, Pennymac has become one of the most respected lenders within the mortgage industry. Founded in 2008, Pennymac consists of PennyMac Financial Services, Inc. (NYSE: PFSI), a leading mortgage lender and servicer, and PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust (NYSE: PMT), a leading residential mortgage real estate investment trust (REIT). David has been a member of the both boards since their formation and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer for both companies in 2017. In 2021, he became Chairman of both the PFSI and PMT boards, overseeing discussions on new initiatives and strategic priorities, facilitating internal board communication and ensuring proper oversight of key matters.
