As the Senior Estimator and Project Manager, my responsibilities extend into all phases of construction and daily business operations. In my largest role, I act as the key leader in the entire commercial work acquisition process, managing, coordinating and delivering the complete preconstruction phase while serving as the primary client/customer contact throughout. This includes establishing and maintaining relationships with existing clients, new clients, construction management firms, architects/engineers, subcontractors and vendors, tracking and evaluating project leads, preparing all estimates and proposals, developing bid/contract acquisition strategies, as well as leading client presentations and negotiations to close contracts.When each project transitions from preconstruction into the actual installation phase and up until projects are completed and closed-out, I will continue to play a lead role and maintain my position as the primary client/customer contact. Additionally, I will be responsible for document/information management, communication, and distribution to our senior level field employees, materials and purchase orders, completion schedules, contract scope management, and the identification, preparation and negotiation of change orders, all to ensure each job is delivered on-time, within budget and in accordance with the project specifications.
