Sr. Engineer on Social/Local/Mobile iOS apps: Field Trip and Ingress. Major contributor to iOS client for Field Trip, worked in the full stack. Tech lead on the iOS version of Ingress. Managed a group of 8 engineers. When the iOS version of Ingress shipped, the user base jumped by over 50% in under two weeks. We have nearly double the player base in Japan than in the continental US because of the iOS version.

Design and develop various parts and tools for the OpenGL graphics engine in Mac OS X. Designed, implemented and shipped OpenGL Profiler and OpenGL Driver Monitor. Worked on the 2nd generation Shader builder.

Principle engineer on 3D graphics engine in NeXTSTEP. Worked closely with Pixar to develop and interactive version of RenderMan, and built this into the Display PostScript window server.

Technical founder of Alias Research. Principle engineer on Power Animator, a Non-Uniform, Rational B-Spline-based animation system used in industrial design and animation. The purpose of this software was to make NURBS technology and sophisticated, organic animation accessible to animators and designers. Alias software (now Maya) has been used in many movies. I was given an Academy Award (tm) for this in 1998.
