I worked for two divisions of Thomson Reuters as it was then, Thomson Financial and later Thomson Scientific. Whilst at Thomson Financial I was tasked with managing, developing and growing the sales and support team across Asia. The company's range of online and software solutions supported the day to day activities of investment bankers and professionals.

Initially based out of London David managed a range of international agents and distributors across the globe.In 1996, following a promotion, he was posted to Hong Kong to set up a direct prescence in Asia of FT Profile, the company's flagship online database.
