Three weeks before my spatial residency at The Reach was to be fulfilled, Rachael Ward, an overzealous and Dominant-culture Arts Admin. cancelled it.So, I'm creating, the first ever, SECTION 8 CREATIVE RESIDENCY in my apartment, in St. Albans, Queens NYC. I'm producing a LIVE STREAM of a STAGED READING of my award-winning screenplay/choreopoem entitled," The Black Bullet Dichotomy Aka The BBD." It dramatically decreases the number of unarmed Black men shot and killed in the streets.The BBD is the pilot project from my Anthology Series-THE OTHER SIDE - where Conscious Hip Hop meets The Twilight Zone. A new sub-genre I created, HIP HOP HORROR. I've created many high concept screenplays, plays, teleplays and webisodes based on the CASH COW FRANCHISE.SMART HORROR (like SAW) coupled with the BILLION DOLLAR INDUSTRY of HIP HOP in my capable hands will create a WINDFALL. Have you noticed a disproportionate amount of black men being shot/killed in America ?Poet/Playwright/Producer David Stamps has identified the culprit. It’s THE BLACK BULLET DICHOTOMY.What’s THE BLACK BULLET DICHOTOMY? It’s a poetry play in 3 acts. It’s a choreopoem of one poet’s existential crisis concerning the unhealthy relationship forced on the black man in reference to the bullet in America using Hip Hop, Spoken Word/ Poetry, Dance, and Song!Synopsis: A volatile young poet accidentally shoots and kills a “pillar of the community” then realizes he’s a victim of “the dichotomy.” He attempts to expose it but gets shot through the head, but he doesn’t die. He goes into a coma where he’s led to the mystical city of UTOPIA, MISSISSIPPI where martyrs of “the dichotomy” like the Spirit of Tupac Shakur explain “the dichotomy” to him. He experiences an awakening. He comes back to life with a message of love for the world. But what about the zealots out to take revenge on him for killing an innocent man? Will he live long enough to Expose The Black Bullet Dichotomy.” It’s the first play from my Theater Anthology Series The Other Side - Where Hip Hop Meets The Twilight Zone.

Producing live events and workshops both with and for military veterans and their surrounding communities.

I wrote copy for the segments of The United Cerebral Palsy Telethon. I also wrote the "unofficial" theme song and co-produced it.
