Exercises judgment, ingenuity and initiative. Demonstrates ability to advise design and engineering personnel in up to the minute developments in new techniques and procedures and materials.• Demonstrates ability to accomplish all required layout, set up, clamping, fixturing and measuring necessary within assigned tasks without seeking higher technical assistance.• Interfaces with upper management, government leads, customer, and DCMA, reports daily status• Trains Lower Level employees • Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, Refurb and Reset, Structural Modifications and warranty work• Sheet Metal Fabrication to cut bend and shape sheet metal• Paint Military Parts and metal (epoxy, emron, polane, lacquer, acrylics, wash primers, Iodine)• Wire Harness and Cable Set Assembly and installation with inner connects for both Cat6 and fiber optic cables based ICDs• Perform general mechanics troubleshooting and repairs on various platforms• Use mechanics and power tools (IE: drill, grinder, water jet, brake press, orbital sander and air tools)• Practices on-the-job safety and housekeeping as required or as necessary to maintain a clean safe workplace.• Kits Parts, maintain inventory control and parts verification and insure the proper MTDs are complete
