Project Role at Jubilee Place ($113m D&C)Jubilee Place is a mixed use project incorporating the heritage listed Jubilee Hotel and 14-storey commercial office tower in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley. As Fitout Manager, I led the fitout cost planning and tendering including working extensively with the tenants in identifying value management items and to ensure the fitout contract value works met the tenants’ financial and brief requirements.

Project Role at the Herston Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS) Project. ($404m PPP D&C)STARS is a state-of-the-art accommodation and rehabilitation facility with 184 beds and special purpose support areas.As a Contract Administrator, I participated in Value Management workshops with design and Construction teams to develop best-value construction methods . I also identified, costed and agreed works to allow design and construction of the revised scope to be completed on time. I later transitioned to the role of Completion Manager where I was responsible for co-ordinating the outcomes required to achieve Practical Completion, including: • Overall responsible person for the management of the Completion process • Developing and updating the Completion Documents • Act as chairperson for the relevant Completion Working Group meetings • Develop and document the Technical Completion strategy • Develop, document and coordinate the Completion strategies and methodologies to ensure all Completion Criteria are addressed • Monitoring and tracking schedules associated with Completion • Prepare the Completion Report confirming works are ready for Completion. • Clarification of Completion Criteria and associated obligations • Develop the Project validation and verification of the Works processes and associated procedures • Manage the Authorisations & Certifications for the project • Manage the Occupancy Permit requirements for the project • Liaison with Principal representatives to program, coordinate and manage access and transition service requirements • Architectural defects • General Building Completion Requirements • O&M manuals and As-Built drawings
