• Selected by the Company Commander, Headquarters and Service Company (HQCo), Marine Raider Regiment, to assume duties as the Company Gunnery Sergeant. • Aided in planning and execution of first annual Anniversary of the Makin Island Raid event, an amphibious training event that tied together Marine from across the HQCo.• Drove the Regiment’s initiative to train and educate all three Battalions and the HQCo to achieve a 98 percent success rate for Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) training, a first in 24 months. • In preparation for Commanding General’s Readiness Inspection (CRI), realized a gap in collateral billet coverage and built a deep bench of Marines for all required collateral assignments, improving from less than 20 billets filled to the full 54 required ensuring every collateral duty requirement levied upon the Regiment was staffed.

Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, United States

• Responsible for training and career progression of seven multicultural team members. Team was responsible for logistic planning and preparation, and direct supervision of all parachute operations for 3rd Marine Raider Battalion. • Operations liaison for planning of future Parachute Operations on off-site locations in Georgia and Mississippi; as well as international locations to include, Germany and Tunisia. Preparation for these operations involved the inspection of all gear for embarkation, which included hazardous material, to the compliance of DOD regulations in various environments such as cargo planes, and shipping container yards. • Served as Static Line and Military Freefall Jumpmaster for command; ensuring compliance of safety regulations and Marine Corps Policy during high risk parachute training resulting in a 100% safety record while serving in command.

Camp Pendleton South, California, United States / Naval Base Guam

• As Helicopter Rope Suspension Techniques (HRST) Program Manager, supervised and conducted the training of the Critical Skill Operators of 1st Marine Raider Battalion on the conduct of HRST operations while ensuring compliance of safety regulations and maintaining all gear within the standards of the Naval Safety Center. • During a 6-month SOCOM deployment, coordinated parachute operations as part of a multinational Jumpmaster team multiple times to include with the Filipino Special Forces, and New Zealand Special Forces. • Establish new procedures to improve the efficiency of the maintenance life cycle procedures for life support parachuting equipment. Procedures were established to ensure compliance of Marine Corps regulations and Naval Safety Center standards resulting in zero deficiencies during Naval Safety Center Parachute Program Inspection. • Provided accountability and maintenance for $12 million worth of life support equipment; resulting in zero loss of equipment over a 3-year period.

Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, United States

• Oversaw compliance of annual training requirements, managed career progression, school seats, and certifications for multicultural team members. • Served as Jumpmaster for the command ensuring the safe conduct of high-risk parachute training and compliance of Marine Corps policy and safety regulations. • Served on a Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) team during a multinational, 11-month deployment to the Arabian Gulf, and Horn of Africa. Team was responsible for small boat interdiction operations and large ship search and seizure anti-piracy operations. Team was trained in detainee searching, handling, separating and questioning, and processing, as well as in IED construction material identification, weapons tactics, and room clearing operations. • Trained with biometric identification technology of use in identifying and processing detainees during anti-piracy operations.

Camp Foster, Okinawa

• Oversaw procedures to ensure compliance of regulations during maintenance of life support parachute equipment. • Served on teams conducting high risk parachute operations, and air delivery resupply operations with a 100% successful safety record. • Worked on multicultural and international teams to coordinate Parachute and Air Resupply operations in Philippines and Thailand.

Helmond Province, Afghanistan

• Completed 10-month combat deployment to Afghanistan. While deployed, maintained 12 hours on, 12 hours off work shift serving as an air delivery specialist, and filling multiple, rotating Force Protection billets. • Worked on flight line processing personnel and equipment for flights in and out of country. Ensured all equipment met DOD travel regulations. Processed and manifested personnel for flights. • Participated in force protection of base to include: manning of access control points, searching vehicles for explosives and any other banned goods, sentry watch, and overwatch security. • Coordinated and prepared 77 individual bundles of container delivery system (CDS) drops for air delivery resupply in support of combat operations.
