ACTOR, DIRECTOR, WRITER, PRODUCER, FIGHT CHOREOGRAPHER and ahem...GHOSTHUNTERDavid Stay was born and bred in New York. He began his acting career at the age of 13 playing the role of Winthrope in the musical “Music Man”. The bug bit him right then and there and he hasn’t stopped since.In the late 80’s David landed his first TV series, “Photon” playing the evil Mandarr for 26 episodes. Not only one of the stars of the series, but also the Assistant Supervising Director, having directed 3 episodes.Over the past 20 years he has starred and appeared in over 25 feature and independent films and several TV series in between. David has produced some of the largest life style events in California as well as other states, festivals such as The Hollywood Bike Jam (Paramount Studios), Best of LA Food Festival, The Garlic Festival, The Arizona Arts Festival, and the Exotic Erotic Expo & Ball (SF/NY) to name a few.David has written, directed and produced dozens of short films, then one day he took on the daunting task of a full length feature film setting out to create a Cult Classic. It took him a little longer to complete then he expected, but in July of 2009 "The SPHERE of the LYCANTHROPE" was done. Since its completion It has had the honor of winning “Best Horror Feature Film of 2009” at The Action on Film International Film Festival. In addition the film was nominated for “Best Actor (David Stay) in a Feature” and “Best Horror Sc-Fi Fantasy Feature” at the Tulsa Script -2- Screen film festival winning the Best Feature category once again.
