I am an experienced consultant and research manager with over a decade of research experience in the commercial, government and NGO sectors. I work across a broad range of issues with particular interest in communications and brand research, evidence-based issues management, stakeholder engagement and corporate social responsibility. My publically-released social research includes major studies on Indigenous relations for Reconciliation Australia and urban liveability for the Property Council of Australia. Recent campaigns I have advised to include the Australian Education Union’s “I Give a Gonski” campaign as well as “Recognise”; the campaign for constitutional recognition of Indigenous Australians. As a market and social researcher I have significant experience in both qualitative and quantitative techniques. I'm also able to effectively activate research findings through media interviews, engaging conference presentations and briefings at senior executive and ministerial level. I have previously managed a major polling company and led an industry research group for an international consulting firm. I have also worked as a scientist in Australia and abroad and have a PhD and BSc (Hons.1) from Sydney University.
