Created the Longleaf Platform, a multi-threaded, multi-server, collocated trading platform written in Java. It is capable of consuming full depth of book data for 1000+ high volume stocks, and making trades with latency of less than ten milliseconds. -Wrote network simulator capable of representing multiple nodes on a network, and accurately simulate arrival times of streams of recorded messages based on network topology. -Administered deployment of multiple CentOS servers to host and run the platform in a remote data center. -Wrote relay server to handle communications between differently located servers. -Wrote backtesting software to accurately predict results of algorithms based historical market data. -Wrote data feed integrations for three providers of real time market data, and four different sources of historical data.
