CurrentInitially employed to take a lead role in the planning and activation of the Ulumbarra Theatre, successfully launched in April 2015. With extensive involvement in sourcing, promoting and presenting entertainment, my experience and expertise in programming diverse performing arts product, combined with my contacts in various industry sectors, has provided value to the team at Capital Venues and Events and the City of Greater Bendigo.Key Projects:Ulumbarra TheatreCombined with marketing team to build profile and awareness of the brand and the nature of the venues at Ulumbarra to build excitement and a sense of ownership in the local community. Took business materials and service offering to market to entice touring agents, promoters and hirers to book the spaces. Led the delivery of site tours, programming and activation of opening celebrations including concerts, open days and community events and activity. Private GivingDeveloped private investment opportunities in the project and business at Ulumbarra, over establishment of programs for individual donors, members and corporate sponsors. (Raised over $1.4M at launch and currently write over $150K per annum in sponsorship for City of Greater Bendigo.) Bendigo Stadium Expansion ProjectTaking a lead role on the Bendigo Stadium project activation committee. Will curate, promote and activate the $22M expansion project, developing opening events and celebrations with major concerts, community and sporting events. Ulumbarra FoundationFacilitated the recruitment of a high-calibre board then supported the establishment and successful launch of the Ulumbarra Foundation; a charitable organisation formed to support local and regional performing artists, arts venues and organisations. Over $100,000 has been raised since its launch on December 1, 2016.
