Worked as the innovation and R&D lead for the gas department along with Gas Engineering and Standards duties. In my engineering function I sized regulator stations, submitted critical paperwork to the MDPSC, and introduced new equipment to the system. In my role as the gas innovation lead, I lead a team of 6 ambassadors to help innovation projects integrate into the gas system. We were able to be the most productive innovation team in the company despite having no full time project managers. As the R&D lead I worked with NYSEARCH, OTD, and universities to coordinate funding for various cutting edge technologies. I was part of the strategy talks for BGE as they discussed the future of natural gas for the service area and customers. Using these projects I focused on projects which check feasibility of hydrogen blending and RNG to reduce our carbon footprint.
