I have worked with various chemical companies and their products at the University of Florida for over 20 years. For the last 7 years, I have worked in the IR-4 Program focusing on GLP pesticide residue research. We conducted on average of 25 research trials per year through this program on various citrus, herb and vegetable crops. Also, I have worked doing research on agronomic crops such as peanuts, cotton, corn and soybeans. Additionally, while I worked toward my B.S., I conducted research on sod grass farms, golf courses turf grass fairways, highway right-of-ways and canal banks with various chemical companies. I have enjoyed my career thus far and look forward to the challenges that the future holds for me.
