Throughout my career, I have a proven track record of leading teams with an approachable, collaborative, trustworthy and playful leadership style, helping to create an inclusive business culture that motivates and brings out the best in people. This approach has served me well, when building the necessary relationships and approvals required to open up a new educational program and the build of an educational facility in New Zealand.In addition to my stock of interpersonal skills, I have 20-years of experience in managing business operations, Human Resources, regulatory requirements, organisational finances, change management, external relationship building and logistical planning in dynamic work environments, putting equal importance on both large-picture strategy and on-the-ground details. As both an educator for over 25 years and as the NOLS Australasia Director for over a decade, I also understand responsibility, having been responsible for the health, wellbeing and educational outcomes of thousands of students and fellow staff.Outside of work, I continue my interests in the outdoors through personal sailing, sea kayaking, hiking, kitesurfing, Mt biking and skiing trips. I have recently completed 8 months of cycle touring with my partner in Europe and continue to volunteer ski patrol each year at Thredbo resort. When I'm not working, adventuring or traveling, I am often found renovating buildings with my partner on our property in Byron Bay.
