As a member of the Stress Testing, Economic Capital, and BASEL Reporting team, responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining economic capital methodologies and reports in line with best practices and emerging standards. Additionally, enhanced CIBC’s Basel reporting capabilities to support enterprise-wide stress testing and the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP).

• Analyze data to develop fraud and credit integrity strategies for retail products• Develop risk indicators (such as LTV, TDSR…) and identify populations for further review. Understand and interpret business requirements, evaluate complex data relationships, and deliver outputs that meet business and audit expectations• Accountable for independently managing and enhancing a critical monthly report, which requires submission to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI)• Perform data aggregation and develop and deliver dynamic and visually appealing Tableau reports and dashboards to outline issues and influence decisions• Work collaboratively with partners to augment/acquire internal and external data and tools. • Develop web crawlers to search art market information, build image recognition model and cluster analysis on paintings, valuation of existing works and potential collaborating artists. This series of analytical models provides a first-step judgment as an artwork valuation, saving 50% of the time for final pricing and decision making• Design and deploy rich Tableau graphic visualizations for art market data by using cross tabs, heatmaps, scatter plots, pie charts, box and whisker plot, etc.• Communicate and execute action plans to associates on upcoming projects, targets, priorities, company initiatives, events, promotions or any other school initiatives• On-going evaluation of the performance of art teachers, including recruitment, performance management and termination• Provide on-going coaching, mentoring and motivation of employees to ensure effective internal communication• Create student database with automated reminders including class renewal, birthday gift and other promotion timing
