Responsible to improve efficiencies, technical knowledge, and synergies between several discipline in core analysis across the region. Areas of focus are conventional core processing at wellsite and laboratory sites, routine core analysis, shale rock properties, and digital photography

Develop analytical programs for conventional and unconventional reservoirs. Guide operational development based on industry trends. Assist non-technical or less tenured staff with theoretical and operational details on core analysis.

Responsible for managing core testing laboratories in Denver, Casper, Anchorage, and Bakersfield.Denver grew from $200,000 in 2005 to a projected $10+ million for 2010.Core Analyses included: Routine Core Analysis; Shale Rock Properties; Wellsite & Initial Core Handling; Desorption; Adsorption Isotherm; Geochemistry; Petrology; and Project & Data Management.Implemented quality controls and laboratory procedures that created a high percentage of repeat business and satisfied clients.Interfaced with clients and appropriate vendors (internal and external) to develop detailed protocols for comprehensive core anlaysis programs that included disciplines ranging from wellsite core handling through formation damage and enhanced oil recovery objectives.

Managed on average 30 core analysis projects concurrently for major oil & gas companies from onset through final reporting.Implemented protocols for efficient & complete project management.Developed and managed a dedicated project management staff.Interfaced with clients to discuss their objectives for a complete coring program.Worked with laboratory staff to ensure full implementation of program objectives.Core Analysis disciplines included: Formation Damage; Routine Core Analysis; Petrology; Petrophysical Properties; Relative Permeability; Enhanced Oil Recovery; Rock Mechanical Properties.
