Having joined Pye Motors in Lancaster in 1982 as a member of the sales team, I then became sales manager, a spell which included moving premises from Lancaster to the present site at Ovangle Road, Morecambe. In 1997, I returned to Kendal as Branch Manager for Pye Motors who had become the new Ford representatives in the area. Again, this involved a move to new premises at a purpose built site in 2005.I then returned to Morecambe as Dealer Principal in February 2012 in order to help improve our representation in the north Lancashire area. In 2021, having spent 39 great years at Pye Motors, I decided to retire and spend more time with my family and at the golf course! However, in October, I agreed to take on a part time role supplementing the used vehicle stock for as long as the task was required.
