I write short news articles, longer journalistic articles, feature articles, and profiles of notable figures. I mostly write about antisemitism but also write about Jewish-related subjects and people more broadly. It is the same position I started in May, just an adjustment in title to reflect that I write more than just the short news articles.

I write brief articles and also longer investigative articles, both primarily focusing on either antisemitism or Jewish culture.

- I manage and write the Jewish publication’s Facebook posts, Instagram posts, and tweets on Fridays, weekends, Jewish holidays, and during the social media editor’s absences. I also contribute analysis and advice on best practices in social media promotion and publication growth. I also write occasional articles, assist with editing wire-based news pieces on Saturdays and Sundays, assist with editing op-ed pieces on Fridays and Sundays, and work on special projects, such as 2020’s, 2021’s, and 2022’s Jewish 100 features. My first op/ed for the publication appeared in February 2023.

In 2021 I took over all operations of Liberty Island Media Group as the new owner, publisher, and editor-in-chief. We will be publishing a diverse assortment of primarily novels but also some nonfiction and poetry too. Rather than focusing around politics we chose to shift to a faith-based Zionist emphasis and a new name.

I was in charge of editing and publishing short stories, poetry, blogs, nonfiction articles, humor, comics; general management of website content and contributors; assisting with managing book publishing and promotions. Acquiring and editing novels. During 2015 I began acquiring and editing a dozen novels for the new start-up publishing company founded by Adam Bellow and David Bernstein. I also began work on my own fantasy novel series, screenplay, and non-fiction book. Throughout 2016 I continued to acquire and edit novels; many published in 2017 and 2018. Two novels and a novella I acquired and edited that were published in 2017: Mad Jones, Heretic by Quin Hillyer, Justice, Inc. by J.P. Medved, and Silver & Lead by David Churchill Barrow and MaryLu Barrow. In 2018 I completed a feature-length, comedic, detective/mystery screenplay titled Daughters of The Dude which was named a featured selection of the first annual SmashCut Screenplay Competition. Also in 2018, Liberty Island published eleven titles I acquired and/or edited, including: Jonah: A Novel of Men and the Sea by Howard Butcher, Snowflake’s Chance by Curtis Edmonds; Mad Jones, Hero and Mad Jones, Agonistes by Hillyer; Pulse of the Goddess, Slaves Beneath the Stars, and Gangster Town, and the first three installments in Fred Tribuzzo’s American Blackout series. In 2019 Liberty Island published a military short fiction collection I acquired, The Odds Are Against Us, the first title edited by new associate editor Oren Litwin, and Jinn and Tonick, a cyber-punk sci-fi adventure by Bokerah Brumley.

I focused on research projects studying online antisemitism and the roles different ideologies play in supporting or opposing it.

I researched online antisemitism and developed techniques and plans to fight it, in charge of all research for the growing nonprofit.

I researched and wrote articles about Islamist activists, mosques, and organizations.

I conducted research and investigative journalism of local Islamist organizations, mosques, activists, and imams. I published articles and reports about the views and associations of these individuals. I sought to encourage and promote activism among organizations at the local level.

I developed a team focused on monitoring and countering Islamist groups and activists. ISLAMIST WATCH, a project of the Middle East Forum, combats the ideas and institutions of lawful Islamism in the United States and throughout the West. Arguing that "radical Islam is the problem, moderate Islam is the solution," we seek to expose the Islamist organizations that currently dominate the debate, while identifying and promoting the work of moderate Muslims. Islamist Watch specifically does not deal with counterterrorism but works to establish that lawful Islamism is by and of itself a threat.

I edited and assigned stories, wrote blog posts and articles, managed writers, and helped to develop the publication. In particular I focused on growing and developing the PJ Lifestyle section, expanding coverage of faith, family, entertainment, technology, books, relationships, and culture.

From August 2009-May 2011 I was the managing editor of NewsReal Blog, a political blog focused on critiquing the media. I also served as associate editor of FrontPage Magazine. During June, July, and August of 2011 I wrote investigative articles for FrontPage and researched political organizations for the online encyclopedia DiscoverTheNetworks.

I was a freelance contributor and wrote a film review each week.

I worked to prevent federally-insured student loans from defaulting, first as a collector and later as a senior collector (the equivalent of an assistant manager who helped lead a team of collectors.)

I arranged for repairs on cell phones and computers. Also sold IOMEGA products and did other miscellaneous tasks. Was promoted to the position of Order Manager where I handled escalations and difficult customers.

Wrote articles promoting businesses and various organizations.

During high school and college I worked at this art house movie theatre which no longer exists. (It was bulldozed to the ground and was replaced by a storage unit.)
