David Swint is a 38-year professional at Bandera Electric Cooperative with diverse experience from his work in multiple roles in the company.  Today he is an NISC Enterprise Program Manager and manages all aspects of the suite of business software systems from NISC.   David began his long career with BEC in field engineering & line design doing fieldwork as well as customer service.  After 10 years, David expanded his knowledge by becoming a valued member of the Information Systems Department and remained in that role for another 10 years.  David’s next role was to manage the multi-million dollar project of building a new corporate headquarters and coordinating the relocation of all employees.  He also managed the implementation of a new ESRI GIS system and then established and managed the GIS Department for many years.  Other responsibilities have included managing the physical access control systems, video surveillance systems, and facilities management.  David also served as Special Projects Manager, and interim IT Manager for a year prior to taking on his current role of NISC Enterprise Program Manager. In his personal life, David is married, and enjoys his passion of being an artist and has several oil paintings in a gallery in San Antonio,Texas.  He is also a passionate live music fan.
