Coordinate and develop the work that takes place within the municipality and with the inter-municipal water organizations and water councils that exist for Rönneå, Vegeå, Skälderviken and Kattegatt. The role includes developing and strengthening existing networks and contributing to a holistic approach to the overall action work in the entire catchment area.

The project was divided into multiple sub-projects, which together aimed at further understanding the Bogong moth (Agrotis infusa), a night-active, migrating moth. By determining the spread of their habitat and tracing the moth throughout its 600km long migration across New South Wales. Their goal was to seek shelter from the heat from the Darling River to Mount Kosciuszko, where they aestivate, which is a form of animal dormancy, similar to hibernation. The work included gathering of moths at night using a light-trap. The caught specimen were examined. The collected data was required to calibrate a radar that traces airborne insects. The work consisted of preparation and participation in meetings with different groups of consultants and boards, construction meetings regarding the implementation of water conservation measures and fieldwork, doing inventories of different aquatic habitats found in the terrestrial environment. Among the independent assignments, I made inventories of two municipalities, Lomma and Staffanstorp with focus on small measured actions the municipalities could do to delay storm water in urban areas. During the project I assisted in the collection of moths (using a light trap at a remote location), prepared moths for experiments (which involved attaching a tungsten rod to the back of the moth), learned how to controll complex apparatus during experiments and recorded data.

Gained experience in evaluating confocal microscopy images of insect brains. The methods included three dimensional tracing of neurons and generating 3D-reconstructions of neuropils and complete insect brains.
