Cipher Complex , (Xbox 360, PS3) • Wrote AI, path finding system, as well as a Maya plug-in to create navigation objects such as ladders, patrol paths, zip lines, etc.• Collaborated with designer and artist to implement player and NPC combat system along with a tool (C#) to allow designer to easily create fight combination strings and adjust reaction timings.Fear and Respect , (Xbox, PS2) • Implemented AI and hand to hand combat systems.• Created AI state machine tool which exports Visio diagrams into AI logic. I was in constant communication with scripters, helping them use the tool and getting feedback for new features.

Neverwinter Nights 2 Prototype (RPG), (PC) • Created Max plug-in to export level geometry.• Developed level editing tool to apply materials to level geometry, set object properties, and place lights.• Wrote HLSL shaders for per pixel bump mapping, specular mapping, and reflective armor.• Created game code including player movement, AI, combat, and path-finding.The Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring (RTS), (PC)• Developed all in one effects tool(MFC multi doc interface with custom controls) featuring material editor, key framed particle system editor, 2D animation editor, and geometry ribbon editor• Wrote robust Direct3D 9 rendering engine from scratch, incorporated in house memory tracking system, and upgraded all effects libraries.Battle Realms (RTS), (PC) • Developed tools and libraries for particle systems, interface layout, and font generation.• Wrote unit AI, path-finding, combat, interface, front end, and many other game specific features.
