Led efforts to raise permanent debt capital with main focus on project level debt within structured tax equity funds. Introduced several new lenders to the utility scale solar space and served as the relationship manager for Cypress Creek. Lenders utilized the USDA Rural Development loan guarantee programs to enter the solar lending space and quickly scaled in some cases to over $200 mm of annual loan volume. Over $600 mm of debt capital raised and closed across 860 MW's (DC) and over 100 unique sites. Worked in conjunction with deal teams within project finance to close twenty-one (21) separate tax equity funds with main emphasis on coordination with lender partners within those funds. Also, led efforts on the financing of ~$10 mm of real estate transactions.

Administered loan guarantee and grant programs that were used by commercial lenders, businesses, developers and rural electric cooperatives. • Performed loan analysis and due diligence for business and energy loans up to $25 million. • Negotiated and drafted over 125 contracts between lenders and the USDA from 2013-2015.• Managed a loan portfolio of approximately $350 mm for USDA. • Placed/processed 95% of the national funding for USDA energy loans from 2013-2015 (~$220 mm). • Completed agency due diligence on solar and biomass loans in N.C. • Directed efforts in N.C. for the USDA energy grant program from 2007-2015. Worked with over 500 applicants (agriculture producers and small businesses) during that time period. Top five (5) nationally on an annual basis in grants processed/awarded. • Administered economic development loan and grant program that worked with rural electric cooperatives across N.C. Delivered over $40 mm in loans and grants to N.C. based electric cooperatives from 2012 to 2015. Over 30% of the national funding during this span.• Worked with national office staff and lenders on understanding tax credit investment models used in energy finance. Established initial policies that allowed USDA loan guarantees to be used by lenders to support permanent loans within these financing structures.• Created working relationships with a broad range of lenders that utilize USDA programs.
