Overseeing the operations, academy, growth and programs at one of Melbourne's best golfing locations.As part of Albert Park's sporting precinct the APDR has 55 hitting bays across two storeys, an outdoor putting and chipping green and an academy boasting 10 professional golf coaches.Hosting corporate and social events and open to golfer's from absolute beginner to elite players, we are a public welcoming facility and able to assist anyone looking to enjoy the game of golf. Previously I have worked for the PGA of Australia as State Manager of the VIC/Tas Division, overseeing all vocational and tournament issues, for the 600 PGA members across Victoria and Tasmania. I successfully managed the Mercedes-Benz Truck & Bus Victorian PGA Championship in 2015 & 2016 at Huntingdale Golf Club, which formed part of the PGA Tour of Australasia. I am a PGA golf professional with broad experience across all areas of the golf industry, having spent ten years playing professional tour golf in Europe, America and Australia. I have worked in private members golf clubs, public golf clubs, and golf training facilities; in management, support, and teaching roles.Prior to the PGA I worked at Eynesbury for four years as General Manager of both golf and hospitality. I worked with the Eynesbury team to make sure customers received the best from the facility whether it be a corporate golf day, a round of golf with friends, a lesson, a meal, a meeting, a conference, or their own special wedding day.Golf is my passion and I love working within all areas of the industry. Increasingly I am finding ways to represent golfers within the industry, through speaking at events, involvement in industry bodies, and mentoring younger golfers. I am a fully certified vocational member of the PGA of Australia, Advanced in Game Development.
