• Work in Acting Capacity as Electrical Superintendent during the Superintendent’s vacation/ absence.• Project's Lead Electrical Engineer for all Site installations.• Provide Project technical supervision, direction and control for all Electrical Subcontractors.• Ensured that all electrical installations were done according to approved drawings and work.

o Coordinate with Client/Consultant/Main Contractor regarding project technical specifications and requirementso Define and document the project requirements/targets/objectives and high level plans to translate business requirements into clear and achievable project goals.o Provide Project management, direction and control for Project Management Team (PMT), Construction Manager, Project Engineers, etc.o Identify resources needed and consolidate in project manpower plan and assign responsibilities.o Coordinate with HR regarding labour and subcontractors.o Oversee the implementation of mobilization plan.o Coordinate with procurement regarding material ordering and reception.o Prepare monthly reports, detailing progress and costs for top management.o Monitor Sub-contractors and Vendors and provide feedback to technical managers.o Prepare monthly payment certificate to client.o Ensure all as-built drawings are properly issued, stored and maintained.o Develop testing and commissioning plans and coordinate fulfillment.o Coach, motivate and retain staff, develop individual and team capabilities.o Ensured all site installations are in strict adherence to project quality plans and compliance with client’s approved specification, approved procedures.o Ensure the maintenance of HSE in all project sites.

o Provide Project supervision, direction and control for On-site Engineers, Supervisors and installation team;o Interpretation of design drawings to Site Electrical & Instruments Installation teams;o Ensured the installation of site electrical instruments - Hart and Foundation Fieldbus Transmitters, resistance temperature Detectors (RTDs), etc. - is in strict adherence to project quality and compliance with client’s approved specification and approved procedures.o Ensured the calibration of field installed electrical instruments is done according to approved procedures.o Liaison with Clients for approved construction drawings; o Liaison with Client for stock-taking of Pre-installations in Process Area Modules;o Attend Chevron’s PMT meeting & participation in regular Management Hazard Identification Team Walkabout; etc Brief of a few site installation works:o o Installation of CCTVs, Public address/ general alarm (PAGA), Panic alarm (PA) and intrusion detection system (IDS) from security command and control centre to field equipments. o o Installation of Power Substations, Electric motors, Swtichgears, etc.o Installation of site electrical instruments - Hart and Foundation Fieldbus Transmitters, resistance temperature Detectors (RTDs), etc.o Termination of both power and Data cable of Main and Intermediate distribution frames (MDF/IDF), panic alarm equipment, JB’s and PAGA speakers from the plant security command and control centre respectively.o Installation of High Mast Lights (HML), perimeter and security tower lightings.o Installation of temporary access control system.o Installation of Cathodic Protection for piping, foundation piles and tanks.o Earth resistance testing on grid test pits and installed Cathodic piles.o Installation of earth grid network and grounding of equipment/steel structure.

(b) Celtel Turnkey Project (c) MTN Turnkey Project.Responsibilities:*Project Management & Control: Coordinate and manage all construction and installation activities at GSM BTS Sites from the Technical Site Survey to the Final Acceptance and Site handover. *Oversee the preparation of Bids, Tenders, invoices and other procurement documents for clients and subcontractors.*Undertake site surveys with client and ensure that the Site design documents are ready and signed by the client.*Ensure that AutoCad drafting of relevant drawings for bids and site-build are on schedule; Train Design department members to improve their AutoCad drafting skills.*Ensure that the project is carried out within Scope, Time and Cost.*Liaise with clients and subcontractors.*Supervision of company engineers (Civil, Electrical & BSS) and Contractors for project implementation of GSM BTS (Base Transceiver Station) site-build turnkey projects.*Ensure that all installations are done in accordance with the client’s specification, standards, policies and procedures.*Training of Site Engineers on site earthing.
