Stepped into the role of Director of Pricing to stabilise, rebuild and restructure the Pricing function (c50 FTE) with responsibility for both technical and retail pricing covering personal lines and commercial lines products- Set a new vision and strategy with supporting targeted operating model and the successful hire of several key leadership positions to deliver the new strategy- Significant increase in the department’s Best Companies score- Drove the initiation and delivery of several projects ranging from technology, data and modelling capability- Delivered first iteration of GBM models and GIPP compliant Pricing Models

Responsible for leadership of the Pricing function for the VitalityCar joint venture between Vitality and Covea- Responsible for the launch and ongoing Pricing Strategy for VitalityCar- Led the development of the market entry Pricing models- Designed the key marketing message for launch- Delivered initial pricing models marrying telematics data with internal proprietary data to improve the predictability of propensity models- Provided Strategic Advice to Covea wide transformation initiatives including Pricing development, Fraud strategy and IHP delivery

Hired by the CEO and CFO of the division to provide Strategic Pricing Consulting services to Towergate Retail covering a range of direct personal line product lines including Household, SME, caravan, car hire and pet insurance.Subsequently I was approached by Paymentshield's CEO to determine and then execute its pricing strategy and pricing target operating model. In 18 months I delivered a Price Optimisation Transition project with long term benefits in the £Ms in addition to delivering BAU benefits that have flowed directly to the bottom line.

Promoted in April 2016, my scope extended to cover all Partnership brands (inc John Lewis, Virgin Money, Age UK, Vauxhall) with responsibility for the Pricing team in Stoke as well as the Pricing and Data teams in Glasgow.

Reporting into the Managing Director of Ageas Retail Intermediary, I was responsible for the Pricing and Data Analytics function.

Key responsibilities included:- Ownership of the P&Ls for Life, Health and Dental- Chair of weekly and monthly trade meetings covering all aspects of trade including over-site of marketing spend- Negotiation of new Life Insurance supplier (Aviva)- Management of project to move to new Life Insurance supplier- Latterly I attended Commercial Director's Senior Leadership Team meetings
