I'm an adaptable Control System Engineer that leverages a depth of technical Mechatronics knowledge, and breadth of business and collaborative skills to drive automation projects to completion. With 3 years experience in the Heavy Industry sector, and 4+ years in a range of professional, academic, and volunteer environments, I help engineering teams and companies to solve complex problems - 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁! 🤙Here's a few interesting achievements:🔹 Managed 30+ Engineering Equipment Package projects for Heavy Industry, generating 1.5 million dollars in revenue 💰 even during the challenges posed by Covid AND 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗲𝘇 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗲!🔹 Successfully avoided a $10k budget overrun and delivery delays by recommending a High-Density Polyethylene redesign for steel safety covers. By utilising my Engineering skills, I significantly reduced the manufacturing costs and lead time, recovering the project 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲. 🔹 Rescued three people from life-threatening situations (One caught in a surf rip, one was choking, one had a medical emergency).
