VSA shares intellectual, scientific, and data management resources with Environmental Standards and draws on its expertise, and focuses on non-environmental projects such as food, beverage, pharmaceutica and consumer product quality and purity issues. VSA evaluates your current scientific data product and processes, responds to immediate data and information quality needs, and develops plans to prevent and manage future client liabilities. In this position, I provide consultation on analtyical chemistry and study design for environmental forensics applications in ports and harbors, refineries and marine settings. I provide similar services in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and product purity and safety cases. In both environmental and non-environmental cases we provide independendent reviews of data validation efforts on high profile litigation cases. I have provided quality assurance oversight in large scale responses during and after unintentional environmental releases. I have also had the privilege of providing project leadership in combined chemistry and toxicology studies. We continue to build a great technical team of chemists, biologists, project scientists and geoscientists here in East Tennessee.
