I am the Executive Director of Open Food Network (OFN) Canada, where I lead the development of open-source solutions designed to support sustainable and equitable food systems. With a focus on product innovation and interoperability, I work closely with community food enterprises, co-ops, and local producers to streamline their supply chains and foster the growth of regenerative agrifood economies.I also serve on the Governance Committee of the Data Food Consortium (DFC), where I contribute to developing interoperability standards for short agrifood supply chains. I have been instrumental in spearheading the implementation of the Beckn and DFC protocols in North America to create open commerce networks for agriculture. With over a decade of experience in the social economy, local food systems, and climate policy, I am passionate about creating practical, scalable tools that empower local communities. My work is driven by a commitment to regenerative agrifood economies and collaborative innovation, ensuring technology serves the needs of a more democratic, equitable, and climate-smart global food system.
