They import and sell wines from the US, Spain, Argentina, France, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and Chile to name a few. David structured H2Vino to have both and Import and Distribution License to allow more control of the 3 Tier system allowing us to choose great wines from around the world directly and increase the profit margin from managing 2 of the 3 tiers. Starting in 2006 I concepted, raised funds/funded, and grew this business to include global importing, new product development, distribution, warehousing and delivery. During expansion we built a global supply chain management system with partners in Europe, South America, Australia and New Zealand while expanding from 4 initial partners to more than 27 employees. We implemented local supply chain management with warehousing and trucking control, and improve our ability to deliver and manage quality products. H2Vino doubled in growth for the first 3 years and grew from 50 SKU's to over 600 achieving steady growth until the company was sold in January of 2022.David successfully piloted H2Vino through the 25% international tariff increases and Covid with a client base that was over 50% on premise. At the end of 2021 David took the opportunity to manage a successful sale and transition of the import and distribution business while separating the warehouse and delivery side.
