• Manage the overall operations of the Operations Control Centre (OCC). Create strategic partnerships with external stakeholders to establish a collaborative response to emergency management.• Conduct audits to identify non-compliance in operating processes and procedures.• Ensure Fatigue Management (AFM) & Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, procedures, and regulations are followed.• Implement optimised workflows to improve operations.• Facilitate training plans to equip staff with the relevant skills.• Lead recovery actions for bus incidents or accidents.•. Analyse operational reports to create improvement plans. • Manage annual budgets required for the department.• Manage the department's performance in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).• Implement bus service recovery plans if bus incidents or accidents occur.• Plan operational drills to review operating standards, procedures, and staff readiness.• Recommend follow-up actions to prevent the recurrence of bus incidents or accidents.• Work with stakeholders relating to the management of bus incidents or accidents.

• Coordinate design activities with other groups within the Project team to ensure the alignment between other key work streams, stakeholders and the design component in the development of the U-Go Mobility Operations Control Centre (OCC).• Ensure that efficient, economic and innovative construction methods are decided upon and documented during the design phase and that the construction staging and methodology is thoroughly considered as safe and manageable and informs the design process. • Provide subject matter expertise and advice regarding infrastructure which will support the safe, compliant and successful delivery of works on time, to budget.• Coordinate configuration change control process.• Develop OCC Interface Protocols. • Coordinate the establishment of the OCC with radio communications.• Carry out Emergency Incident Management response training in the OCC. • Undertake pre-go live testing of the OCC and bus interactions via radio systems and tracking software. • Review project design to ensure environmental impact is considered through established methodology and the design contributes to environmentally sustainable outcomes.• Ensure all employees, contractors and visitors comply with the requirements of the WH&S Management Plan.

• Principal representative to the multi-agency Transport Co-ordination Group • Manage the administration, performance and investigations of staff and incidents in an operational environment including emergency response• Quality Control - monitor and manage the quality of services delivered • Introduce workplace reform and new technology • Staff Management - performance management and reviews, counseling and rostering • Manage radio communications systems and resources• Safety Management

• Provide work instructions and support to Service Controllers • Manage the impact of planned and unplanned incidents • Represent STA within the Transport Management Centre • Contribute to the critical review of transport emergency and operations plans from a State Transit Authority perspective• Initiate and contribute to formal training sessions and assessments • Intervene as required in emergency situations where incidents require a strategic direction to facilitate an improved response• Participate as a team member, or lead projects as required on policies, procedures, equipment, systems or other areas relevant to Network Control Centre operations• Develop and manage real time monitoring of services utilising PTIPS • Safety Management • Build and maintain sound working relationships with external stakeholders
