I have a degree in Television & Radio, where I trained in many aspects of the TV, radio and film process. I am confident in using editing software for both video and audio, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition and Final Cut Pro. I also have a strong knowledge of operating a radio desk for live broadcast, as well as presenting in that environment and on screen. Furthermore, I am a skilled creative writer, and competent performer, with years of experience with theatre spaces such as The Octagon in Greater Manchester, Gutter Street Productions in Greater London and my own independent production company, as aforementioned.I also have a basic knowledge of studio camera operating, as well as outside broadcasts, and operating Digital On-screen Graphics and other gallery functions.

I studied Television & Radio at Salford University, graduating with a 2:1 BA(Hons) degree. Here I learned how to professionally write, record, present, direct and edit high standard radio and television content. I spent 3 years working in industry standard radio studios, TV studios and editing suites in the heart of Salford Quay’s Media City, surrounded by the BBC, ITV, etc, who we frequently met with for lectures and practical workshops. Furthermore, during this time I also became proficient in researching and putting together pitches and promotions for work I was doing, whilst also carefully crafting the work itself and often presenting/acting in the shows too.I then went on to host a DriveTime radio show on Salford City Radio for 5 years, becoming one of the most listened to live shows on the station, conducting interviews, hosting alone or inviting guests on, and recording and editing features and games, etc. I have also created a small independent production company with 3 friends where we create our own comedy series online, which has gathered a small but loyal following, with several thousands of views collectively. I also continue to write scripts and sketches, produce and host a podcast as well as guest hosting part of another team podcast, and write and perform stand-up comedy too. I feel like I thrive in a creative environment, with practical experience as listed above and a proven passion for creative media as evidenced here.

I previously hosted DriveTime with David, on Salford City Radio, every Friday from 4 till 6, for 5 years.

For over a year I have co-hosted a show on Salford University’s student radio station ‘Shock Radio’ with a friend of mine. During this time, we’ve interviewed/recorded idents with a variety of people including Ashley Horne and The Vamps, and won the Best Duo award at an internal awards ceremony.Our show is called 'Beauty & The Beard' and features sketch comedy, quizzes and a variety of music.
