I have had the privilege to play key parts in nearly all parts of the product life cycles across many products. Whether it is the early ideation phase, building the early engineering team, engaging first customers to define details, building the first prototypes and presenting to early adopters, developing to product launch or nailing down the manufacturing process to enable general product availability, I've enjoyed and taken pride in all of my contributions. My market of focus over the last ten years has been in the intersection of machine learning, embedded systems and cloud computing. The integration of cellular technologies into this stack is starting to enable amazing new possibilities. Due to the breadth of my experience, my specific skills are also broadly ranging. I am a passionate C++ developer but also enjoy C, Javascript and Python. I love working on embedded linux systems with very restricted resources, on vast distributed systems in the cloud and even non-traditional processing architectures. I've been responsible for regulatory compliance, project management, program management, grant writing, development of quality control systems, and team building. I've found success in most of these but find enjoyment in the application of all of these skills to see a product and product team launch successfully into a market.
