I am lifelong learner that loves writing software and tackling interesting challenges. Getting my start with PHP and JavaScript to build RuneScape fan sites in 2004, later participating in my local high school's programming team, before continuing my education in undergrad and eventually working in the industry on eDiscovery and FinTech solutions with .NET, PostgreSQL, React, and TypeScript. My expertise is in distributed systems and full stack development, using parallel processing as necessary, while my interests in software at home range from computer graphics to compilers and software runtimes.     Created four new Firefox extensions specified by Mozilla using Javascript and XUL along with three other students targeting the upcoming Firefox 27 “Australis”. The extensions were developed in an untraditional fashion in order to interact directly with the browser’s chrome and access more privileged functions. A simple library was developed to reduce the complexity of code in this interaction and assist in managing the GUI.
